The evolution of the female rapper Eva Alordiah

Eva Alordiah is a woman of many passions, but she should still pay major attention to her music career. 26-year-old rapper Eva Alordiah is a pleasantly baffling rapper. Since her debut in 2009, Eva’s career has been on a transformation, shifting and morphing according to her hobbies, interests, whims and caprices. Yesterday (Thursday, March 31, 2016) she clarified her earlier statement saying she was retiring as a ‘music artiste’. In a handwritten letter posted on her Instagram yesterday Eva said she is now a creative artiste instead of just being a female rapper.

She also revealed that her a collection of short stories will be released along with her (frustratingly) delayed debut album ‘1960’.

Just in case you didn’t know, Eva promised that her anticipated debut effort will be out in January, 2015. A year and two months later Eva dropped an out-of-the-blue EP aptly titled ‘Because You Been Waiting’. 

 

In between this period Eva Alordiah got engaged on live TV at the Headies 2016 on January 1, 2016, and teased her fans with Instagram videos containing details about her album. She even created a grotesque alter-ego Eve to promote her oft-delayed project. 

 
Following the path that Eva’s career has taken it is clear that the female rapper marches to the beat of her own drum. She moves according to her own timeline and does not bow to external pressure and deadlines. Another thing about Eva is that she refuses to be placed in the proverbial box. She constantly challenges herself and wants to be more than a rapper. She wants to be regarded as a creative whose talents can impact the world. Eva has the talents to be regarded as a multi-creative entity. Apart from her skills on the mic she happens to be a very talented makeup artiste. Eva is a beautiful model also. As a matter of fact she started out as a model in her teenage years. Eva not only knows how to make people look beautiful she knows how to make them ugly. She has a strong talent in makeup effects. Her alter ego Eve is her handiwork. She can create artificial wounds and other gory stuff.

Let’s not forget her interest in fiction also. A few years ago on Twitter Eva wrote short stories on her timeline. She later moved it to her website. Coming out with a collection of short stories would not be a surprise to her longtime fans. Eva is a woman of many passions and her evolution as a creative artist is nothing but natural progression. She has many interests which can’t be placed under the tag of ‘music artiste’.

However creative people with many talents and interests easily lose focus. Even when they are good at things they rarely reach their full potential. As Eva evolves into something higher, her primary focus should still be on music. After she successfully establishes herself in that field her full attention can go into another hobby or passion.
