To create the ultimate
date night makeup tutorial with the help of
makeup artist Lauren Cosenza .
Tools you'll need:
1. Foundation
2. Pink powder blush
3. Blush brush
4. White shimmery eyeliner pencil
5. White shimmery cream eye shadow
6. Gunmetal eye shadow
7. Flat eye shadow brush
8. Eye shadow blending brush
9. Black glitter eyeliner pencil
10. Mascara
11. Rose lipstick
12. Lip brush
1. Apply powder blush on your cheeks.
After evening out your skin tone with a
luminous foundation, like Bare Minerals
bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum
Foundation, sweep a powder blush with the
blush brush along your cheekbones,
sweeping up and out for a contoured look.
Model Vanessa used MAC Powder Blush in
"Mocha" blended with MAC Powder Blush
in "Dame."
2. Add white shimmer to the inner corners
of your eyes. Warm up a white shimmery
eye pencil on the back of your hand so it's
easier to apply, and then outline the inner
corners of your eyes. Then fill in your lid
from your lashline to your crease. Vanessa
used NYX Cosmetics Slim Eye Pencil in
"Crystal Glitter #934" here.
3. Sweep a silvery-white shimmer shadow
over your lids. Take a white shimmery
cream shadow, such as VS PRO Magic
Hypergloss Eye Shimmer in "Night Lights,"
and apply it over your lid over the glitter
liner using the flat eye shadow brush.
4. Create a sexy smoky eye. Using an eye
shadow blending brush, dust a gunmetal
powder shadow from the center to the outer
corner of your eyelid and along your lower
lashline at the outer corner only. Vanessa
used MAC Cosmetics Eye Shadow in "Knight
Divine" here. Then line the upper and lower
inner rims of your eyes with black glitter
eyeliner three-fourths of the way, from the
outer corner to almost the inner corner of
your eye, using an eyeliner like NYC Color
Cosmetics Show Time Glitter Eyeliner in
"Show Time Black." Finish your eyes by
adding one coat of mascara. Vanessa used
Maybelline Volum' Express Pumped Up
Colossal Waterproof Mascara .
5. Brush on a nude pink lip color. Vanessa
used Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge Lipstick in
"Rose Crystal" and applied it with a lip
brush for precise placement.
And voilà, you're an instant bombshell and
ready for date night.
