Almost a year away from its premiere, Vin Diesel shared an unofficial poster for the eighth installment of the “Fast and the Furious” franchise on Tuesday. The poster, which appears to be fan art, calls the new movie “Furious 8,” though it’s previously been known as “Fast 8.”
With the tagline “New Roads Ahead,” the poster shows a solemn Vin Diesel (aka Dominic Toretto) standing next to a car on an open road. It’s suggested that the actor is supposed to be looking at, or looking for, his former co-star Paul Walker (Brian O’Conner), who died in November 2013.
Diesel has said via Instagram that “the next chapter in the fast saga will be a dark, a very dark road.” Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood are the latest cast additions who will join the crew on this “dark” journey.
The movie will hit theaters April 14, 2017.
Two more installments of the franchisewill follow in 2019 and 2021.

CORRECTION: This article incorrectly stated that this would be the first film in the franchise without Walker. It will actually be the second film without Walker.
