Acting nude is against my culture – Susan Peters

Nollywood actress, Susan Peters has disclosed that acting nude is the last thing she would do as an actress, saying it is against her culture.
Susan, who spoke recently with The Nation, explained the reasons behind her decision which she said was taken long before she ventured into acting professionally.
According to her, “Acting nude is a no-no for me.

“I have never acted nude, even before I made acting a profession or before I got married. That’s not even it. I’ve never acted nude and I’ve never been in support of acting nude.
“Of course you could take off some clothes but not to the extent of going totally nude.
“It is not in our culture to go nude. If I try that, my mother in the village would react. She will say the people in the village have followed me to the town,” the 35-year-old Benue born actress jested.
Speaking further on whether her marriage has in anyway affected her career; Susan, who tied the nuptial nuts late last year with her Dutch lover, said “I’m an actress. My husband met me in the job so he should support the job.

“I was an actress before we took our affair to the next level hence I expect his full support afterwards.
“It doesn’t change me doing what I used to do. The only thing is there are some other things I would not do the way I used to when I was a single lady. That’s it.
“But every other thing about my job still stays as it is. I take the same roles I took before,” the ‘30 Days’ actress noted.
