Everyone is very excited about Kit Harington’s hair

Okay then. Behold this man’s luscious curls. Look upon them with joy. Everyone else is, because they contain an important clue.

The man in question is Kit Harington, the English actor who plays fan favourite Jon Snow in Game of Thrones.

In the show’s season five finale, Jon was seemingly stabbed to death by his mates in the Night’s Watch, leading many viewers to despair. That’s understandable. What purpose does life have without a living, breathing, brooding Jon Snow around to darken the mood?

The thing is, we’re not at all convinced that Jon is gone for good, despite the assurances of both Kit Harington himself and the show’s writers. These photos, which were taken at Wimbledon several days ago, add more fuel to the speculative fire.

You see, Harington has previously confessed to hating Jon’s long hair. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he suggested one of the first things he’d do after leaving Game of Thrones would be to get a haircut.

“Maybe I can cut my f***ing hair,” he said, if you want to be exact.

So, the reappearance of those exquisite curls can only mean one thing: Jon will be back.
